PAc 12 Media Thinks Prime Time's Colorado Team Is Hot Garbage

To be fair most of these low effort talking heads just go off what happened last year and then factor in some minor changes based on new players. I think only a real fool would think one coach and one recruiting class could turn a team completely around.

I bet they end up better than 2nd to last. I could see them being 7th or 8th, getting bowl eligible. Really doubling their wins and getting to 6 and a bowl would be a massive improvement over the last two'ish decades.

Yeah, after the initial "bluster" when he came in telling kids to "hit the portal", I haven't heard much about his recruiting class or who they're getting from the portal.

Looks like the PAC press corps isn't impressed with what he's done though.

I want to say UCLA is ranked too low, but not sure who I'd move them past besides Oregon St.

I don't see any huge issues with the preseason poll. I think 1-4 are very close. I'd personally go 1) USC 2) Oregon 3) Utah 4) Washington but you can really make an argument for any order IMO. If I had a vote, I'd also have UCLA at 6 but I think they have more potential to win the conference than Oregon State does. Higher ceiling/Lower floor. It really depends how that QB position works out for them and whether a new DC at UCLA can change anything on that side of the ball.

As for the bottom half, I'm in total agreement.

This is probably about right. I see 3-9 at best for them, unless Shadeur and Travis are that big of difference-makers.

Looking at their schedule, it's really hard to find 3 wins. They have 1 in Colorado State that they should win, but then it gets pretty hard for them. Their next best shots are probably Nebraska, Stanford and Arizona State.

Fuck you and you next best shot list.

But yeah.
