I don't know if a college team would stand a chance against any level of pro baseball competition. Even the independent leagues are full of AA-AAA guys. Maybe they could hang with the low A or whatever the equivalent of rookie league is.

There's an outside chance that the college team might have the best player or maybe even two such as LSU this year. That'd be where any minor advantage they have would end.
 
I am one that disagrees with this thread.

I do think a well-coached team with a lot of top talent that plays with amazing chemistry would be able to beat a struggling NFL team that is horribly coached and has awful chemistry.

I don't think it would be a common occurrence, but it could happen.
 
Yeah, I can't see even the most talented, best coached college teams having a chance.

On even the best college teams, more than half of the roster won't even get a tryout in the NFL, let alone, make the team.

Maybe, if the NFL team was only allowed to use 1st and 2nd year players, a college team might have a chance..but I still wouldn't put any money on them.

Is the struggling NFL team comprised of all rookies/second year guys without any veteran leadership or talent? I'm honestly unable to think of an NFL team that would even come close.
 
Only way an NFL team loses to a college team is if they just don’t care because it’s an exhibition, so they don’t try while the college team treats it like their Super Bowl.
 
If it wasn’t for Chrissy in the ccg, Applewhite and the boys would have shocked the world and dismantled them in the ncg.
