At the beginning of the pandy, I didn’t drive my year old car for a few weeks and the battery shit itself. I had someone come out & jump it but he needed extra power or something (was trying to use one of those little kits) so the truck came out and fired it up. Never held a decent charge after that. Had to have it replaced.

We didn't get a choice in NYC. It mainly let them eliminate the meter readers who came into your house once a month. I haven't noticed any cuts or brownouts as a result but no big deal if they do.
