Was mid 70s here in coastal RI and they say it'll get down to around 59 by 6 am. Weird for this region...
Kinda nice not having the ac going these past couple of days. Haven't missed the high humidity we've been having.
But the high humidity looks like it will be coming back by this weekend... just in time for the Newport Jazz Festival this weekend (Fri, thru Sun).

No... I haven't gone to either the Newport Folk or Jazz Festivals in many years. I've been to several over the years but I'm getting too old to deal with the big crowds anymore.
A couple of Jazz festivals (several years ago), I did some security details. It was fun at the time, but I just couldn't do that security stuff all the time. It interferes with my beverage consumption time! I love my "patio time" during the Summer/Fall time here.
But the festivals are very well-run and I would definitely recommend going if you never have been to one.
