They are saving those kids lives by not exposing them to COVID. We should celebrate them.3 so far.
3* OT from Wisconsin Marcus Mbow
3* TE from Wisconsin Garrett Gillette
3* OT from Florida Charles Armstrong
didnt see an explanationBecause covid scholarship extensions?
i dont think the fact that it happened is weird. more so that it happened like 3 all at the same time (within days)Seems like a weird thing to do
how are you such a fucking idiot all the time? They are saving those kids lives by not exposing them to COVID. We should celebrate them.

You need to stay out of this garbage can boy.Well, he’s an Auburn fan so...
Hey I’m on your side this time!how are you such a fucking idiot all the time?
how are you such a fucking idiot all the time?
When are they taking these transfers? For this season?Rumor is they want to take some transfers but don’t have the room to take the transfers and all their commits
Nah, they were like hey we like you but we don't feel like you would do well here.. for that reason we are pulling the scholarship offer.. Don't fret, you have 2 months to find a new home before NSD 1. Good luck.Good for them. Sort of learning to play big boy football, except there is no reason for anyone to know for sure the scholly was pulled. They will get the training wheels off one day and learn.
It goes like this ...
ASU: son, you can come and be on the team, but it's highly unlikely that you will get any playing time. Maybe you should look around.
Recruit: After much consideration with god and my parents I have decided that I acted too soon and will reopen my recruiting. I want to thank jesus and the coaches at ASU who are all great people. Respect my decision, I will not be doing interviews.
247 a month later: Billy Bob selected New Mexico State today over Arizona State, Alabama, Georgia and Clemson.
Do we know how many scholarship offers they made? Was this a case of offering more than they actually had room for and too many accepting?Good for them. Don't know about offers but 18 committs according to 24/7Do we know how many scholarship offers they made? Was this a case of offering more than they actually had room for and too many accepting?
I follow recruiting closely (too closely) ... until you sign the LOI, nothing is final. There are committable offers, and non-committable offers. Most are non-committable. On August 1, "official" offers can be extended. They can be pulled, but smart recruiters are careful how many official offers they make. My post showed how it is normally handled with someone who is given an official, but non-binding offer. It lets both sides save face. An post like this should not be written about a team that is a good recruiting team as it's not a good look. No team will or should give out more "official offers" than they have room, so let's say 25 (although that can be more or less). You also have to look at the 85 limit, but that is way more complicated.Do we know how many scholarship offers they made? Was this a case of offering more than they actually had room for and too many accepting?
I know you follow recruiting like I do, but what I typed is exactly how it is done, and should be done. It allows both sides to save face. Now, if your point is that they won't ultimately let one of those players say, "nah, I'm good and will come and earn PT," I agree. At some point they will say no, we don't have room. But that should rarely if ever happen. Smart recruiters handle it like I wrote in my post. If what you typed is how Hermann does it, perhaps we now see why he has a hard time with recruiting.Nah, they were like hey we like you but we don't feel like you would do well here.. for that reason we are pulling the scholarship offer.. Don't fret, you have 2 months to find a new home before NSD 1. Good luck.
You tell a kid we don't think you are going to get the PT you are looking for, most would say Really? Remember this when I earn a starting position within 2 years.. Staff can't take that gamble so they let the player know it's officially over with the pulling of the scholarship offer.
But man is Herm gonna get negative recruited to death over this shit if he doesn't come out and win.
