well I guess I am officially old now.

I thought we had a getting old thread, but this is the closest I could find

When did Champion Sports become popular among teens? My little cousins(I guess second cousins) are in HS now and they say it’s what the cool kids wear now. When I was in HS, Champion was pretty much the Wal Mart brand.
My daughter got into Champion when she was still in high school. I guess it's retro shabby chic. I still have some Champion Hornets t shirts from the 90's that I showed her, she thought they were the coolest things ever

I honestly can't say enough about that flask. Best flask I've ever had and everyone I know that has one says the same thing. If you use a flask with any regularity, you need this bad boy.
I had an old Stanley thermos, glass-lined, I would take a pot of coffee to work with me every day and it would still be hot on the way home. Loved that thing. One day the lining burst while I was filling it up, glass shards came shooting out the top all over my hand.

My cousin came by the house the other day and brought her daughter. Daughter was wearing a Champion hoodie, and I joked “damn, your mama too cheap to buy name brands” and was quickly corrected with a lot of southern teenage girl sass mixed in

On at least five occasions at Sam’s Club in California 10-15 yrs ago I left carts full of stuff (including frozen food) right in front of the manager and told them I’d come back when they opened up some registers. 15 fucking registers with two embeciles working and lines a mile long. :mad2:

That's crazy. I'm glad you're alright.

If you use self-checkout, do you let the old lady at the exit check your stuff to make sure you don't steal anything?
