This has been our busiest summer in years. Now football four times a week.

The good news is that Winter truly is hibernating season. Looking forward to that.

My warp speed never ends.

Winter is ski season and we got out 35 times last season.

Damn the torpedoes, I'll sleep when I'm dead.

I saw Pnk's post up there about having no plans for the weekend and I honestly can't remember a single weekend day where I had no plans, let alone an entire weekend. I'd lose my mind, I think. I gotta keep moving.

I'm more of an in the middle between you & Pnk. Once football season is over for youth tackle & flag, I need a couple weekends of doing nothing before wrestling (basketball maybe for girls) starts up. Usually just watching football HS on Fridays, college all day Saturday, and NFL Sunday.

Thought I saw on X(Twitter) about 5 tornadoes in Rhode Island. Could be dang kids messing around as I've not looked into it.

The gf is up in Newport right now and said there are severe storms...hopefully I'm getting there after they pass

Try it for years at a time. I now make plans about 2-3 minutes before implementation.

I used to talk to this lady from Wisconsin. I am from VA. She told me about Culver's. I looked it up. Menu looked amazing. This was around 20 years ago. One day, my son looks up Culver's just for the fun of it. Found out there is one on the way to the Charlotte airport. Needless to say, we have eaten there three times in last six months. I swear they have to have the best fast food burger.

not sure why you think I'd be offended, I tend to keep my weekends free. I hate having tasks list and things to do

Don't get me wrong, most time I find things to do, but having agenda and things I need to get done...f that

I also don't have kids to clog up my calendar
 
Somebody tell @fknhippie I am dead heading my artichokes, harvesting lemongrass, and trimming a couple trees today.

@basement bias made me feel lazy, so I had to do something.

Just some off and on heavy showers passing thru here all morning. Most of the heavier stuff was pretty much west and north of Newport. It's mainly out of here heading east.

Clearing up a bit now (2:25pm EDT) and some sun should be appearing soon. Maybe I'll make a quick hike down to the harbor front patios! :headbanger: :beer2:
