....who could afford them back then though? They brought Africans over to work for them.
Had the hottest experience in 20 years here last weekend. It was only one day tho, and what stood out, was it was the first time in 20 + years here, that it didn't cool down at nite. It was like 90 still at midnight. That is wildly uncommon in this neck of the woods. This summer started off mild, but August has been miserable. I don’t know how people lived down here before air conditioning
That’s uncommon here too. Even in the dog days, it’s normally in the high 60’s/low 70’s in the morningsHad the hottest experience in 20 years here last weekend. Same here. We're in the midst of our hottest, so naturally the world is going to ignite. In a few days we'll be back to highs in the 70's.We've had a pretty mild summer. A few isolated days over 90 but only one definite "heat wave" where the temp was 90+ for three days. Then we've had years in the past where 20 or more days in July were over 90 or 100, and the dew point in August was unbearable.
It's like fall here this week.
Many places out west have had one of the more milder summers in years.
In the GA heat, I can only imagine the stank. Now you know how I feel from May-September every year
I just had to take an emergency shit in a port a john, and I think I lost 7 pounds of sweat
Luckily, Wednesday morning is when they come and pump em out and fill em full of new blue waterIn the GA heat, I can only imagine the stank.
Yeah, but you guys go into lockdown if you get 1/4 inch of snow.
Sconnies ain't built for this kind of heat.
Word. Our traffic is a lot better than Houston’s so people tend to drive really fast. Add to that, idiots get way too confident when there’s ice out there and shit gets out of hand really quickly.I feel like Dallas tries to set a new record for most cars in an accident every time they get a little bit of ice.

It doesn’t get near as cold here as it does there, but winter time is much better port a john weatherIve had to use those for years.......Id rather use it in the heat than in the midst of winter tho.......
And best thing about a port-a-john,were the shithouse poems.....better than any newspaper......
So, inquiring minds wanna know: you ever gotten any splashback in a port-o-john?It doesn’t get near as cold here as it does there, but winter time is much better port a john weather
