WAKE UP BITCHES!!! ITS GAMEDAY

Yeah, that was a faceplant. They gave up some big points.

Hoke's defenses looked ok. More offensive issues there it seems.

3-3-5 probably works more in the B1G now then it did back in 08-2010 though. Most teams run a more spread attack now

I think a lot of teams do throw out some version of a 3-3-5 from time to time in their defensive playbook. Not their base defense but it is used,

I’m rootin hard for the Huskers. CFB is ready for Nebraska to be relevant again…and tho I kinda like PJ Fleck I can’t stand Minnesota and their cesspool state.

Well, at least relevant in the BIG anyway, GBR.

Hadn't really thought about that, but there were only 3 Big 10 teams in the Top 30 'Rushing Offense' last season.

Michigan: 6th
Minnesota: 11th
Ohio St: 28th

However, there were 7 in the top 30 'Rushing Defense'

Michigan: 2nd
Illinois: 7th
Wisconsin: 11th
Iowa: 12th
Penn St: 13th
Minnesota: 14th
Ohio St: 22nd

Not sure which category shows what though.
Less rushing plays or just good rushing defenses?

Probably a combination of both.

Probably a combination of both.

Interesting that the SEC was basically the opposite.

Auburn: 19th
Tennessee: 20th
Alabama: 30th

Top 30 'Rushing Defense'

Georgia: 1st
Tennessee: 18th
Alabama: 30th

A lot of bad defensive play in the SEC recently. The offenses are good but the defenses definitely arent what they used to be.
