It's here folks, burritos, veLicPHer, scenario village and all that stuff rolled into 1. The band will be seen, SKOO will be heard and Oregon is faster. Now if the Ducks could just stop the NFC South from calling them to join, we wouldn't have all these distractions. Final score...Oregon 87 PSU 2 ...we had the punter run out of the end zone to ensure victory with 2 seconds left in the game

This should be a nice warmup game. 2 things that I'm looking for a couple of things:

1) How do the backup QBs look - I don't have a lot of concerns about the offense right now but the QB play behind Nix wasn't good last year. It was part of the reason Nix played down the stretch even though he couldn't really move around. I'm hoping Ty Thompson gets a shot to throw the ball a little bit today.

2) Getting off the field on 3rd down - 3rd down pass defense was awful last year because of a lack of pass rush. Will Jordan Burch provide the spark that the Ducks need on defense? Will any of the freshmen prove to be impact guys on this side of the ball?
 
It’s here! It’s here!! It’s here!!!!!! The college football season is finally upon us and I CANT WAIT! To see the heisman candidate Bo Nix and the Oregon Ducks take on Portland State at Autzen stadium today! Yes PSU doesn’t quite stand for penn state yet, that’s a year away! Today we got Portland state.

Dan Lanning enters his second year as the Oregon Ducks head coach and in just a year he’s already turned Nix into a national name, helped get Oregon into the B1G and also got Oregon one of its best recruiting classes. Young Dan Lanning is making an impact and he’s just starting year 2!

Oregon will host Portland state this afternoon in Autzen to kick off the 2023 season. This’ll be just a notch above a spring game, but thank goodness college football is back! Let the year start off with a successful WIN!!
