I’m not sure. A friend of mine still in EP told me he was very impressed with Jacksonville State. So he wasn’t as disappointed last week. He was totally disgusted with last night’s game against IW…even though they won.

Just curious because y'all went 7-6 and 5-7 the last 2 seasons.....that's pretty good compared to UTEP history.

Jacksonville State impressed me from what I saw in that game. Did not see last night's contest.

Yeah. Suffering Miner fans will take .500 seasons all day long. The only thing that drives us crazy is lack of effort and bonehead coaching.

I don't think so. I mean, who are we going to get that is better? I think they key is in his assistants. He needs to find some up and comers that he knows he won't be able to keep very long. We don't have the ability to pay enough to keep those good enough to ascend.

I do think we need to step up in the NIL/transfer portal arena. We're not ever going to be able to recruit to a high level right out of high school.
