Those two FG's that put them up 6-0 early gave them momentum IMO.

Walking away with goose eggs after two long drives takes the life out of not only the offense, but the defense too. Dukes defense played hard after those points. Clemson only scored after a muffed punt short field.

Exact opposite thing happened last night with Brian Kelly and LSU.

100% it does, it's human nature,

Sooo many positives and options when coaches simply take advantage of the opportunity. Its always been that way but I suspect coaches will begin taking them more often once they get a feel for the clock rule change.
 
Can't recall seeing many teams get to the 1 yard line and come away with zero points TWICE in one half before.

If there isn't much improvement.....Clemson may be scrambling to make a bowl game this year.
 
That second half for Clemson reminded me of Tennessee during the Butch Jones era. Oof. I was having such a good betting weekend before I decided to put 500 on Clemson. Still a winner, but that sucked. Thank God I hammered Rutgers

The 2014 WLOCP still haunts my memories, bech. Both Chubb and Michel fumbled at the goal line when they were true freshmen in that game. The defense’s inability to stop Florida from running the same 3 run plays over and over again was more frustrating, but it still could have been a win without those, and that ultimately cost us the division to a team we beat 34-0 in their house

Can probably mark FSU, Notre Dame and UNC as losses right now

@ Da U and @ South Carolina will be tough games.

the rest of the schedule.....meh though. Theyll probably end up 7-5
