OH MY!

Here....I'll go first.

So, our OC has a father-in-law who just so happens to be Art Briles.

Yeah, THE Art Briles.

The man did what he did and has suffered the consequences.

So you're telling me that because of who he is and what he did, he now and forever should be banned from attending ANY football games ANYWHERE for the remainder of his fucking life? The fuck does it matter if he was in the nosebleeds or club level or on the field? Are we as a society now able to blackball people from enjoying their lives with their families?

Holy shit....media needs to ease up on the outrage mill. You reaching. :2cents:

Not sure I get the outrage at this point tbh.
I mean yea he was part of a huge mess at Baylor, admittedly made mistakes from the administration side of things, was fired, disgraced, removed from football for awhile, then hired at a high school, college, and a pro team wanted him as well but he is not allowed to celebrate with his family as a fan?

Sounds like a Karen is searching for something to bit*h about TBH.

I mean he was there with his Grandkids. Maybe he shouldn't have been on the field I dunno but it was after the game. Though spot for Jeff Lebby to be in.

I mean, his son was part of the Baylor program for 8 years and has been able to work without issue. But 15 years later and the former head coach isn't allowed to come onto the field with his family well after the game is over, in absolutely zero relation to the football team or game?

I think some folks were under the mistaken impression that he has an official position with the team, because he was wearing a Sooners shirt

I ain’t no Briles fan because I always found him arrogant.

That said, I always found it odd that he got a sizeable payout when he was fired but those above him got fired without one. And none of his assistants got fired. They all worked under Grobe that next year IIRC.

Things like that made me wonder about a lot of it.

Shit...is that all it takes?

I've got a USC hat that I wear every day.

Lincoln gonna need an extra chair at the next coaches meeting.

Agreed.

I swear tho just once in awhile I’d love to see some the people like in this case , Venables just say something like “if you don’t like who we have on our side then go root for the other side and piss off.”

IMO those types of responses would shut a lot of this “offended” culture down and it needed to happen a heluva long time ago.

@occupant you are such an enabler with this post. For shame!!! Lol.

The real scandal here is you must subscribe to Karen’s Weekly. Where else would this story appear?

This is the same country that throws people in jail for having a joint in their sock. Or won't let someone own a firearm forever for a felony committed 30 years ago and they've been a perfect citizen ever since then. Or base your ability to enroll in a school or get a job because of the color of your skin. Face it; there is a YUGE amount of people that are beyond fucked up. They are borderline psychopaths who enjoy messing with others.
