Twas the eve of the 2023 season opener and the feeling in the air this night feels like that of the eve of a holiday. Bill Belichick the Patriot and lover of his Navy football father, holds the title of Greatest NFL Head Coach of All Time but it's on shaky ground in a surprising hurry. Without Brady these aren't those great BB Patriot teams. As week 1 shows us, circumstances change but not always in positive ways.
Brady is coming back, but retired. He will have to face the Ghost of Christmas Past in the Eagles, who were the last team to beat him in the Super Bowl and that loss is the the one that burns Brady the most due to his embarrassment of Nick Foles beating him despite Brady having an amazing game himself.
Meanwhile BB has broken up from his longtime girlfriend and is now entering the season with his personal life in a total realignment. BB is all about two things right now, fucking bitches and winning football games. Eagles fans like myself just gotta hope that BB is not out of bitches to fuck yet come Sunday late afternoon. Because he is coming for the this Eagles offense. Hunters in the night, he has spent all offseason gameplanning for this game not just because it's the first game but also because he's going against he best offense in the league. It's entirely a pride thing for the still active late career GOAT of NFL HCs. That's dangerous.
Eagles will face BB's best on Sunday from their defense. Eagles will prevail though because they are the best team in the league with the best QB and along with the best of a number of other position groups and players on the team along with our coaches. It will be close early and probably heading into half but in the second half the Eagles will blow this game wide open and win by double digits.
