They said they'd start right at 7am, they got here at 630am and started about 645 after we pulled a car out of garage. Murray is not a fan of the noise

my dryer stopped heating again.

since I haven't had much time lately I called the appliance guy I had come by before but he wasn't going to get to it until Friday.

so I decided last night to open it up and see what I can see. Found the thermostat to be fucked...luckily I had a spare so I swapped it out. Had to put a new wire on it too. Good to have a working dryer again.

Need to cancel the appliance guy now.

I had the same issue earlier in the year and bought a kit. I didn't find an issue with the old thermostat so I just stashed it.

I've got a couple sitting in a box in the garage, from previous upgrades or swapouts. They weren't defective, I had just upgraded, so I keep them just in case. It's smart homeownsership. Never know.

it's a pretty easy thing to swap out...esp since I have had to deal with the same problem twice.

I put in a new thermocouple and fuse the first time I went in there in April...I should have put in a new thermostat too...lesson learned, I suppose.

I keep spares of many things, but a thermostat for my dryer would not be one of them
