I still had a good day, but I put a good chunk on Bama -21 in the first half believing that to be the lock of the day.

They’re just a mediocre team. They don’t have a dynamic QB like Young and they damn sure don’t have elite receivers this year.

Georgia’s offense has stumbled out of the gate, but their o-line is still grinding down the opposing team. I honestly think UGA would shut Bama out if they played this year

And I guess it’s safe to call Simpson a bust.

all this comes back to the OC.. also the signs were there for the OL.. Last year they weren't terrific either, Bryce was able to make chicken salad when he was out there.

They didn't reload this past season as many people said, they had to basically destroy and rebuild.. the OL recruiting despite it's rankings aren't panning out

If Rees can just adjust the offense around Milroe they will be good. They won't be dominant Alabama, but we already knew that was over after the 2020 team won the CFP

Because Rees and don’t capable of using him. He called 3 QB runs vs Texas. The draw went for 20 yards. That just criminal misuse of your players. I think Bama has issues on offense, but their OC seems to be hell bent on highlighting the weaknesses

I wouldn't go that far. Texas is a good team, but they're not yet elite.

Sadly, Bama now reminds me of a slightly higher level than the Mike Dubose days.

Bama has one issue and one issue only. They don't have a QB. Nothing wrong with the rest of the team, but it is demoralizing when you the team knows, as well as the fans, that they don't have a QB to play at a level they are used to playing.

Bama is also missing an effective offensive line, no pass rush without a blitz, and a suspect secondary.

Other than that, they're fine.

This is obvious. The center has 3-4 errant snaps a game. Proctor is a hell of a talent, but he isn’t ready. I have watched 1.5 games and I think I have seen him give up 5 sacks. Rees needs to help the offense. Like to see more screens, quick game, waggles, and boots. I think Milroe gives Bama, their best chance to win right now. That OL isn’t ready for a drop back passer. That said Rees needs to adopt his offense to Milroe. He cant run out that game plan he did vs Texas. Needs to feature the QB run heavily, that will slow down DEs quickly. When needed go empty. Hurts killed the Chiefs in empty in the Super Bowl with his legs. My advice, start Milroe and watch every offensive play the Eagles ran last year

After Texas lost Kiffin thinks T-Rob is calling the defense instead of Steele. It kinda makes sense because Muschamp a Saban disciple trained T-Rob and Steele isn’t going to conform to anyone else.

Love T-Rob but he doesn’t a 10th of the Knowledge Steele has. I’m thinking not everyone is on the same page.

it's not just the QB position which, again, I don't think is bad as what people are saying..it falls on the OC.. yes the OL is struggling, even latham has his moments, but a good OC would figure the shit out.. even BOB figured shit out with a bad OL a year ago.. hell..he also won a game with Milroe being the QB as well
 
I don’t care who is calling the defense. It’s much better than last year. Only blip was 4thQ vs Texas when they got tired because our shitty ass offense kept putting them out there in tough positions

If the Texas receivers could catch they put 14 more points on you easy.

Let’s be real the defense was lucky South Florida only scored 3 points and that team was shit last year.

Nah there's more issues than just QB. Milroe can be an effective weapon if used correctly. Hell we made the playoffs in 14 with Blake Sims who was a converted RB. We will see if Rees can do it

But the oline is downright awful. Center rolls the ball to the QB half the time. RG spends more time in the backfield than the QB and RB combined. LT is too big to block a pass rush. Hell a 5'11" 190lb defensive end beat him all day last week.

Like @UNA Lion said the d-line hasn't been able to get an effective rush without blitzing.

But for the first time under Saban we have a reliable kicker so we got that going for us

Golding did nothing but delayed blitzes that almost never worked
