GAME Northern Illinois @ Nebraska 7pm ET FS1

I'm wondering where Sims will transfer too?

He probably should be given another chance. If he does, I wish all goes well. Just hoping if he starts gifting Meatchicken possessions, I hope Rhule sits him.
Don't fix what's not broken. We went from averaging 4 turnovers a game to only having 1 with Haarberg that was arguably 70/30 the Olines fault. Imo Haarberg should start till he gets hurt or starts turning the ball over. Sims shouldn't see a down unless it's an end of game trash series or Haarberg royally fucks up. Then if he comes out strong, he can earn the #1 spot back. He has great running potential, but that isn't worth it for the turnover damage he brings... plus Haarbetg can run decently as well just not as fast.

Let’s not pretend and act like Haarberg and the Huskers won against a good team. NIU is not a good team and that game shouldn’t have been as close as it was in the first half.

I never thought I’d say this but NIU’s offense is even worse than Nebraska’s. I’ll take the win and like the grit and toughness shown and hope it builds some confidence

But NIU isn’t near even Purdue or Illinois and even Northwestern. Let’s learn to walk first before we run.

Another chance to keep doing what he's always done?

This doesn't even include fumbles.

^^ THIS ^^

What do you do with a guy that's 6' 4" 220 lbs and can run?

He doesn't have the important mental capacity to play QB. Since he struggles to field snaps, I'm assuming he doesn't have the hands to play WR either.

If I'm Rhule I tell the kid they're moving him to OLB or he can hit the portal again.

Is it Northern Illinois or Boston College that's Jekyll and Hyde?

Northern Illinois won @ Boston College 27-24, then laid an egg the following week losing to Southern Illinois 11-14.
Was Southern Illinois a hangover game?

Boston College lost to Northern Illinois, barely beat Holy Cross 31-28, then lost to #3 Florida St by 2 pts 29-31.
It's not like Florida St was suffering a hangover from their 45-24 LSU win because they pounded Southern Miss 66-13 the following week.

True and Northern Illinois had a ton of dropped passes, but even though they may not have been a good team, they allowed Haarberg to get a feel for the game and gain some confidence. He should still start imo until catastrophe ensues lol.
