Colorado State was beaten by Washington State at CSU’s place. The Rams were beaten by a way larger margin by the Cougars. The Buffs beat the Rams in Boulder, and it took 2 overtimes. And we gonna talk up a Coach Prime? Shit, please. And as I type this, I just saw where Prime gonna be on 60 Minutes tonight.

A 3 point win over a mediocre TCU and a 2OT narrow win against a bad CSU team is not impressive in the slightest. I'm not sure what would make you say CSU is improved when they're 0-2 with a blowout loss to a solid but not elite WSU team. Nebraska clearly isn't good and is more likely a 3-6 in-conference team than a B1G West champ. If you call 3 unranked teams challenging, then their upcoming gauntlet might as well be against NFL teams.

Yea I don’t get trying to talk up Colorado State even if they are “improved” they are still at best a 5-7 type low rung MWC team. No true good team should need double OT to beat them

Again, when compared with other top 25 teams they've played one of the hardest schedules. TCU is only unranked because CU beat them. I know it's early, but they are a top 35 team in most CPU metrics. I'm not saying they've played a great schedule. But if you're comparing their schedule to those in the top 25, it's harder than everyone else save a few teams. I mean just look at the top 10. Their's has been harder than UGA, Michigan, OSU, USC, PSU, ND and Oregon for sure.

This is their "breather" game though, which is my point. TCU probably a top 35 team, Nebraska probably a top 60 team and CSU probably a top 75ish team(projecting). The latter being a an instate rivalry game, coming off a bye, on top of coming off a win over your other traditional rival, with a top 15 team coming up next week. That's a tough spot. Weird things happen in rivalries.

I think Colorado is your basic run of the mill average team. They probably aren’t going to beat any of the better teams left on their schedule. They are good enough to beat the other average teams but also are liable to lose to teams they maybe shouldn’t.

Oline is bad. Not much of a running game. Defense isn’t very good overall. The passing game will keep them above water but if that bad OL gets Sanders hurt it’s over.

We got people out here acting like they are a upper level team already. But also wanting to excuse them needing 2 OT to beat a team that went 3-9 last year, hell some are even trying to make it out as a impressive accomplishment (looking at ESPN and Fox)

When you say average do you mean a team that's rated like 55-65? That's what I think when I hear average, which I don't think is fair given what they've accomplished thus far. My guess is they are probably a 7 or 8 win team. If they get to that they deserve to be ranked by the end of the year given their ridiculous schedule they have left.

Depth is going to be an issue for them. They didn't have their starting center yesterday, which didn't help. They also lost arguably the best player in the country in the 2nd quarter. Not excusing the close game, but they don't have great depth. I think Oregon will probably beat them by 17 or so. And USC probably will too maybe by more, but those teams are great to elite. CU isn't that, but I do think they are a top 25 team. Even if they go 7-5, I'll still think that.

7-5 is about average to me. But Anything outside of the top 10-15 depending on the year is usually a mixed bag of meh. IMO.

Most 7-5/8-4 teams are a far way off from being in that upper level. Colorado is no exception. I agree that they are probably a 7 win team. Which of course is a huge improvement. But with the way some talk you’d swear they were already on the elite level, if you didn’t know better.
