Week 4 LOLs

What logo from Alabama am I sporting? That same mistake is what cost a black Jack dealer in Biloxi a tip.

The dude took offense to a 90 year old former Notre Dame HC thinking Notre Dame was gonna win, and the cried over it. He’s not tough and neither is OSU

He wasn't upset that Holtz thought ND would win. He was upset over the way Holtz characterized his team. I think the team showed a lot of toughness yesterday. A weak team gives up when they lose the lead.

If you disagree, that's fine with me.

That’s a Braves logo, they’ve been using it long before those retards across the Chattahoochee ripped it off.

Only scoring 17 isn’t a show of toughness, it’s a show that Notre Dame’s offense is still shit. When Day has the national reputation he does, his acknowledging outside noise and sounding like he’s holding back tears isn’t a good look.

What the hell is going on with PAC 12 defenses? Washington allows Cal 32 points... It is Cal. Southern Cal lets Arizona State 28 points while Fresno State shuts them out.
This is why just about every QB in the Pac 12 is up for the Heisman, even that ex-Auburn scrub is in the talks.

LOL at ESPN’s headline after all the nut swinging they’ve been doing for 3/4s of the season.

“Hey Ryan, how many national championships ya won?” ^^^^^^

Yeah. This leads me to ask, what do they have to do? What is it gonna take? I was thinking about creating a thread for all teams that just can't get it together. But for the Hokies, what will it take? Just to 6 wins, then 8 wins, maybe even double digit wins. Is it coaching, recruiting, players not executing, coordinators sucking?
You should, VT, Nebraska, UVA, WVU, Stanford, Miami (tho they have started well this season), Maryland (ditto but jury is still out on them AND Miami) , Indiana, Illinois, would all be good case studies.

Well, some things I just didn't know about related to the actual background of college football workings. A friend of mine told me many years ago that it is quite difficult for UVA (he is a UVA fan) to get even some of the good players because of required GPA. Now, keep in mind, that we are talking about this around 2004-2009. Yes, things have changed. To some degree, I get the deal with Miami. The stadium is 30-40 minutes away, it is private, blah, blah, blah. Not that Virginia Tech was ever the powerhouse that Nebraska was, but I feel the same way for the Huskers. Is it their location? Is it that they are in the B1G now? I get that VT is not in even the top 10 or 20 when considering "college football magnets". But the campus is nice, the stadium looks great, they have had past success. I just started keeping up with college football since 1998, so yes, during Beamer's ultimate successful seasons. Yes, Frank left. Bud Foster is gone. Heck, at one time, I was hoping they would go after Gus Malzahn. However, I never thought that Duke would have a better season (last year) in football than the Hokies. This year, is starting that way also. I thought the Bill Callahan years for the Huskers were rough, but lord. Stanford had a couple of double digit win seasons a few years ago. The Al Golden years at Miami weren't great either. Not even wanting to reach blue blood status because I know it would never happen, but at least a bowl game each year for the Hokies would be decent.
