Deion will only be a major story if Colorado can get ranked again, which I don't see happening. Still, making Colorado part of the national conversation is a big achievement for the season. Will be interesting to see what happens going forward for Colorado. If nothing else, Deion showed that you can enjoy some success by blowing the whole thing up.

Colorado was one of the worst P5 teams last year, getting them to any sort of relevancy is a success

Early season success was a little overblown and media circus probably rubs people wrong way

Dude has done it his way all his life and been pretty good at it.

There's a degree of self-promotion that some people don't like. To me, again, there's enough other choices for media consumption that I can choose to not follow stories that I don't particularly care for. And folks keep tuning in to Colorado football.

Look, I give him some props. That 1-11 program was in horrible shape and the culture has shifted. However, what grated on me was the media's love fest over him and they had not even played a single game. Deion's arrogance doesn't help either.

But, Matt Rhule is doing the very same thing at Nebraska

It’s pre cooked gyro meat. Great stuff. Throw it in there at 355 for about 10-12 minutes and it’s gourmet eating.
