i know that Hans Gruber died in the movies and my kid couldn't understand why i was crying.....

and I just told him... The quarterback is toast.

I think I made it to the 5th book, before I decided if I stall, she might grow out of it, before I hafta read the rest.

Haven't watched the ones after that yet either. Starting to piss my daughter off a little. lulz

We read them all when my kids were still pretty young. I had thought my daughter would want to read one per year while she was the same age as the main characters, but we ploughed right through.

Now, all her paraphernalia from the books and movies is stashed in a closet while she's off to college.
