He definitely didn't choke away the win. Played one of the beat games by any QB in the Super Bowl. Down 8 in the 4th took the Eagles down the field for the TD then converted the 2 point conversion to tie it.

If the NFL didn't bail the Chiefs out on 3rd down with a very weak defensive holding call at that point in the game then Hurts would have gotten the ball back eith enough time to win it.

These teams love to overthink shit. Detroit and San Francisco ignored and stuck with QBs who did well for them and are reaping the benefits. Then you have the Browns and the Raiders that blame game the QB and continually suck

I will say that the Niners definitely have a very full team that gives their QB all the weapons they could ask for

The same can be said for the Eagles. They gave Hurts all the tools he needed to succeed and he is doing so. Same goes for Purdy.
 
Hurts isn’t a true leader. He gave up on his team during the SB and it cost them. Poor sportsmanship to blame the refs. Better team won. Mahomes > Hurts

Seems to me that Jim McMahon will enjoy the company. Now it isn't 1 of these things is not like the other...it's 2.

If Hurts was rated on the Romo curve. It would be ugly.
He would be the sole reason the Eagles lost the game.

Right now the record I see since 2022 season til now is
Jalen Hurts is 1-3 when playing from behind in the 4th Qtr.
The one win was against the leaderless colts that had no real HC.
He is a good QB blessed to be on a pretty complete team throughout his career. When asked to put it on his shoulders, well. He is found wanting.

Eagles just couldn't get anything going yesterday. That was a rough game to watch...especially with my Jets fan neighbor.

Jets defense played well.
