He’s a terrible coach. What he did at Vanderbilt was impressive, but when you routinely have the same record at Penn State as you did at Vandy, it isn’t impressive at all

They won exactly how they wanted to. Fooled the Irish into thinking they could win only to rip their hearts out. They won’t play around with Penn State though
 
Should be a good matchup of two mid level SEC caliber teams, I will watch… some of it..
 
I don’t really get the ‘neither team has played anybody good yet’ sentiment. Kind of dumb actually imo.

OHST did win @ ND at night (kinda flukey tho) and beat an okay Maryland team.

PSU beat a kinda-good WVU and an above-average Iowa.

Not the best resumes, not the worst either.

I don't know. If Maryland was better than "okay", I have to figure they'd find a way to beat Illinois

Honestly, after this game, I wouldn’t be surprised if Penn State saw the writing on the wall and applied to join the MAC. Come 2025, we might see Penn State playing Eastern Michigan on a Tuesday

they should drop their football program entirely and then join the other non-football playing queer northeast schools in the Big East.
