I kinda feel sorry for the guy.

At Oklahoma, he competed for the job against Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, and Spencer Rattler, and lost every single time.

Badgers need a dedicated QB coach. Having the OC also pull QB coach duty will not work well. Someone needs to be working on these guys' fundamentals every bit as much as learning plays. For example, Mordecai's footwork in the pocket is atrocious and would never get better without a legit QB coach. In the short time we've seen him, it looked to me like Locke's footwork is actually a little better than Mordecai's out of the gate, but Locke clearly needs a lot of development on other mechanics (such as how to hold the ball in traffic). The OC is going to be too focused on the big picture to properly correct those important fundamental details.

Starting gig at a better program and Phil Longo. Braeden Locke is next transfer up.
