Your Top 3 most surprising teams so far/in order

Nebraska - I'm surprised at how bad they are. I honestly thought they would turn it around this season and be ranked.

Washington - I knew they were good, but also picked them as my overrated pick. I was wrong. That being said, the pac has always been nuts. They probably lose to ASU this weekend, thats pac12 football.

Louisville - I've begrudgingly watched them a couple of times this season. Thats a good football team.
 
First off, are we talking about "surprising" in a good way or a bad way? If in a good way:
1. Duke
2. Oklahoma
3. Wyoming

If a bad way:
1. Auburn (two teams they beat are 4-11 and beat Samford)
2. Arkansas (team they beat is 1-6 and beat Western Carolina)
3. South Carolina (team they beat is 3-3 and beat Furman)
 
In a good way

1 Kansas
2 Missouri
3 UNLV

In a bad way

1 Pittsburgh
2 Cincinnati
3 Appalachian State

Shows how far down the program was under frost & company. Poor talent evaluation and development left the cupboards pretty bare. Anyone who had followed the program knew that this was not the year to show that kind of improvement.

Washington shouldn’t have surprised anyone yet. They returned everyone from a great team last year and have went through the easy part of their schedule. I think everyone thought they would be where they are right now. Gotta wait till we hit the meat of the schedule

They lost Cam Davis, their starting running back before the season even began.

I probably put too much stock in defense and the running game these days.

And their starting center for the season. Forced substantial changes to the line. They've adapted well so far. Still need to keep growing there though.
 
Penn St - they’re better
Okla St - they’re worse
Alabama - what the fuck they doing?

Alabama struggling with South Florida and Colorado beating TCU most surprising games. Hell the fact Alabama gave a home game to South Florida was shocking alone.
 
I think Iowa could fit both good way or bad way.

If you expected Iowa to be much improved on offensevl and couldn't be worse than last season, then...

If you expected another 7 or 8 win season even with weak schedule, well it isn't looking like itm
 
1. FSU - didn't think they'd make it past LSU and be undefeated up to this point (and look good)
2. LSU - thought they'd be better in year 2; really shocked FSU did what they did to them.
3. Nebraska - I honestly thought they'd be better but the problem seems more systemic and deep than we thought

Iowa - shockingly bad offense
USC/Oklahoma - they are opposites of what I thought at the start of the season
