What exactly do you think we "did" to Tillman? He played the whole game. We just covered him well and sacked the QB about 5 times. We didn't try to hurt him, or break his ankle, or ruin his NFL hopes by injuring him.

"Cock Bowers. We are going to hurt him. Going to break his ankle. Ruin his NFL hopes." - that's why he's a POS. I get being glad a team's best player is out, although classy people would not be glad he is hurt. This guy took it to another level.

This is common in football -- hell, you have NFL teams who were giving cash payouts for knocking a guy out of a game.

As far as Tillman -- i can't say what happened in the game -- I just took what he said, that Georgia was rough with him. That being said -- what exactly do you think Tennessee is going to do to Brock Bowers. It isn't as if guys are going to be diving at his ankle when he isn't looking.

This is nothing more than talk. Also -- who even is the guy in the video? Is he a player on tennessee?

FFS, no, it's not common in football to try to break someone's ankle, purposely injure them, and ruin their NFL hopes. The one team that made case payouts was the Saints - that was BountyGate - here you go:

Imo, the issue is not so much that he said the quiet part out loud, it's that he was a bit over the top in what he was saying.

Everyone who has played or followed football knows that if a guy is playing through an injury, you "test" it by going at him.

The difference is, you don't go after him looking to injure him further as that dumbass said. You do it to see how much it's limiting and to expose the potential weakness.
