Tennessee fans really blaming the refs?

That’s not officiating that’s penalizing the best team by making them sit at home for a week and get out of rhythm while their opponents keep playing
Either way, its fucking pathetic

Yeah welcome to the baseball playoffs

Tennessee had their chances. Didn't convert.

The refs still sucked. Tried their damndest to keep bama alive in that first half especially.

Alabama should be stripped of the win, all their starters suspended for the next game, Saban given a six year show cause and the entire ref crew banned for life from ever stepping on a football field again.

This is worst than the Black Sox scandal.

^^^ Gets it and has had enough of the disgrace that is SEC “officiating” as well.

Barn fans love to blame everything on “BiRmiNGhaM”

NCAA rule on fair catches on Kick Returns:

“Fair Catch On Kickoff

Fair catches often happen on punt returns but are now more commonly seen on kickoffs. The rule for fair catches on kickoffs states that the returner can fair catch the kickoff and if they are inside of the 25-yard line, the ball will be placed on the 25-yard line automatically.”

That is, unless you are playing Alabama where the ball is spotted (player receiving the ball signaled nothing at all) at the 4 yard line where his teammate had his hands below his belt line the entire time…

But nah, totally legit crew.

It’s to the point you’ll have to bring in PAC 12 refs to stop this blatant cheating.

You always have to beat both Bama and the refs. Tyler Simmons wasn’t offsides when he blocked that kick. George Pickens broke off his route when they called intentional grounding that killed a drive, that was a forward pass, and it definitely wasn’t roughing the passer on third down that lead to Bama’s only TD in the 2021 NCG.

Dumbass the ball only moves to the 25 yard line if the person who signals fair catch catches it. The person who signaled fair catch didn’t catch it so the ball is dead where it is caught.

Vol fans are so dumb

It was a false start instead of offsides. We would have had to rekick anyways. And you won the game in 21 so quit bitchen.

It was a clean blocked punt and Nick Saban will forever be a dishonest coward for accepting that penalty, and I want blood, refs kept us from winning bigger

Man, this thread is fucking comedy gold.

Cry more Vols, I hope he enjoyed your one game-winning strike against the Crimson Tide. Looking to go another 15 years in a row against that weak ass football team. Nothing Sucks like big orange.

Blaming the refs is for simpletons.

I’ve said it a thousand times.

It’s the cool thing to do because it’s what everyone does.

It’s also dumb and cliché.

There was no signal for fair catch at all! By anyone!
The man who caught it returned it to the 20!

Look at this UT DB just mugging that poor Alabama WR , is the ball even in the frame?:
