I tend to agree ... that was the scuttlebutt we got when he was talking to UGA. Not in a hurry, wanted to enjoy college, willing to develop.It sets up perfectly for him starting as a redshirt sophomore, two years to learn the system and then two years on the field and he probably graduates before his senior year and then goes pro.
QBs take a beating and two more years of O-Line development would be a positive for him also. The Mannings are running a marathon not a sprint.
