Arkansas Fired OC Dan Enos

I think stubbornness led to Dan Enos failure and eventual firing. Sam Pittman has stressed a couple of times that they needed to move the pocket, and they just didn't do it. No reasons why. Those plays just weren't called. He had to go.

uh oh.. Pittman rearranging chairs on his titanic

odds are against him :(

So does KJ Jefferson stay at Arkansas ?

Try the NFL?

Or get some better NIL money from another program and transfer?

He has another year if he wants it IIRC.

I could see some program luring him away TBH, I don’t think he’d be a high draft pick, particularly in this years class but I also think he’s still a good/solid College QB on a bad team at the moment and could get … maybe more money with NIL compared to the money level where he’d get drafted.

LSU
Alabama
Oklahoma
Washington
Ohio State
USC
Clemson
Florida State

All could use an upgrade/experienced QB1 for next years team and he’d do that imo.

I didn't know KJ had another year. Even so, At first glance, I thought there was no way he'd leave, but upon some reflection, it could happen. Arkansas is having a very down year (poor Oline play, shaky secondary, and the OC) and while Pittman will get another year or two, the offensive staff is probably going to change up. And there will be plenty of other schools needing an experienced, 1 year bridge QB.

Auburn will pay him double.

I’m kind of thinking along those lines too. Now, to play devils advocate Arkansas also hasn’t been really CRUSHED by anyone either so they might be able to convince them to stay, make a good OC hire and get a few more players and be really good next year too so.. it’s an interesting situation imo.

Can you imagine living in Fayetteville or East Lansing? :omg:
Been to ‘The Fay’, it’s not too bad…classier than Appalachia. Buuuuut head out of town a few miles and it’s…just make sure you’re strapped and your vehicle is in PEAK operating condition.
