Emanuel Zervakis? Why did Easy Rider flash before my eyes?
DEGENS FROM UPCOUNTRY!
Tell me the story.Emanuel Zervakis?
About what?Tell me the story.
Why?There needs to be some control.
because of shit like this happening. Why?
Doh!! Didn't pick up on the initials.About what?
A NASCAR driver from the 60’s with the initials of EZ that was occasionally referred to as EZ Rider? Not much to say. He’s the only driver to win a race with the number 85 on his car
OK.Shallow thinking is for plebes with knee-jerk opinions.
I can understand that. On the other hand, as a retired NYPD, he's likely seen a lot of things first hand that you and I could live without.
Mos def.
So if a Central American country has more shootings, that doesn't count?
You really believe that? Have you read any empirical studies that indicate(not prove) that? Illinois has some of the toughest gun laws in the country. We see these number of casualties weekly.because of shit like this happening.
did their lax gun laws keep it from happening? Where was the good guy with the gun?
no, I think we have a gun problem regardless. You really believe that? Have you read any empirical studies that indicate(not prove) that? Illinois has some of the toughest gun laws in the country. We see these number of casualties weekly.
no, I think we have a gun problem regardless.
We have a death problem. Every single person's death draws sympathy. Is 18 people died in a crash today, would you say we have a bus problem?no, I think we have a gun problem regardless.
The problem goes much deeper than that. A gun is a hunk of metal, the nutjob wielding it is the problem. You have a culture now where lawlessness in not only tolerated, but encouraged. A $900 smash and grab crime is perfectly acceptable now. An urban warrior walking into a Wal-Mart with an AK-47 over his shoulder is perfectly acceptable. People simply don't get the mental help they need so they are left to camp out on the street and shoot up with drugs provided by the government. Governments don't even want to solve the problem because either they couldn't care less or lawyers will tell them they can't. Solve the root cause of the problem and then you may be able to scratch the surface.no, I think we have a gun problem regardless.
You make a lot of good points. And, sometimes, random shit happens. The problem goes much deeper than that. A gun is a hunk of metal, the nutjob wielding it is the problem. unfortunately, I agreeThere is no solution to that problem. So at this point, it's the wild wild west.
that might be the dumbest mental gymnastics I have ever seen.We have a death problem. Every single person's death draws sympathy. Is 18 people died in a crash today, would you say we have a bus problem?
the hunk of metal makes the nutjob much more dangerous though. The problem goes much deeper than that. A gun is a hunk of metal, the nutjob wielding it is the problem. "the price of freedom!"You make a lot of good points. And, sometimes, random shit happens.
