Michigan yanks Harbaugh's contract extension

Well as usual you said nothing that supports your thoughts. What I'm hearing is OSU has very comparable metrics to michigan despite playing an exponentially more difficult schedule. Somehow McCarthy is a "much better QB" despite having similar output as McCord against a schedule that's not even comparable, while your offense averaged 1 TD more per game against said middle school schedule.

OSU having a healthy WR room with Emeka back will make a big difference, as will having Henderson. McCord will have to be sharp but if we're healthy I'm not worried. Meanwhile nothing about michigan's offense is scary compared to our defense.
I want to live in your fantasy world. So Michigan didn't return almost everyone on offense?

And McCarthy -- who they had as the odds on favorite to win the Heisman prior to the bye week somehow isn't a much better QB? The same McCarthy they have going in the top 10 picks in the NFL draft? The same McCarthy who has WAY WORSE WR's, yet has the #1 QBR in CFB, #1 completion % in CFB and has thrown for 4 more TD's than McCord even though he has thrown 75 LESS PASSES. That McCarthy?

And you KEEP talking about nothing being scary about UM's offense, which is the same offense that has put up 1,000 yards of offense and 45+ points over the last two years.

You put McCarthy at QB on OSU and you are the national title favorite. With McCord, you aren't even the favorite to win the B1G.

Couple things -

#1. We have no idea how good JJ actually is until he beats someone. He mostly looked like shit against our very shitty defense last year, which brings me to point 2
#2. You're not facing 2021 or 2022 OSU's defense. The dramatic improvement this year over last year is evident to basically everyone but you. By this point last year, we'd been gashed for huge plays against everyone we faced, regardless of how good they are. We've faced ND and Penn State, who average about 1 fewer point a game than michigan despite both playing more difficult schedules, and we shut both of them down. You also have 0 idea how OSU would look with JJ because he hasn't beaten anyone worth a shit. Look at McCord vs teams like Purdue, WKU, and Maryland. 900+ total yards, 8 TDs, 0 INTs. That's basically been JJ's schedule literally this entire year.

#1. Anyone who thinks ohio state is not an excellent team with an excellent history. Anyone who knows we will beat them or beat them easily is a moron.

#2. Michigan has had an easy schedule. It will hinder us because our team has not been tested. It helps us because our 2nd and 3rd string has gotten a fair amount of playing time.

Sounds good. Can't wait to hear your excuses after the game this year. McCord looks great on the road. Completing less than 60% of his passes for 5 tds and 3 ints in 4 games. But yeah. i'm sure your next response will be how -- Wisconsin, Purdue and Indiana are all top notch defenses.

McCarthy hasn't played in the 4th quarter of everyone game but one, where he is only took 4 snaps. Michigan has outscored teams 273-30 thru 3 quarters this year. So many of our starters haven't even seen the field in the 4th quarter. That includes Indiana, who held McCord to 223 yards passing on 33 attempts with 0 tds and 1 int. McCarthy threw was 14/17 for 222 and 3 td's and sat halfway thru the 3rd quarter.

The best team Michigan has played so far is probably Rutgers...
That is true -- but Michigan has buried every team they have played. 273-30 is the point totals thru 3 quarters for UM on the year. I post that because our starters have been on the bench in the 4th quarter of every game. McCarthy, I believe I read, only has played 4 snaps in the 4th quarter this year.

gonna be a tough game
McCord had better learn to play on the road. His numbers for home and away are vastly different. At home -- he tears it up -- 9 tds 0 ints, 189 rating. On the road he is extremely mediocre - 5 tds 3 ints, 133 rating.

Definitely going to be a fun game to watch. This is, by far, the deepest, most complete and best UM we have had under Harbaugh and IMO, the best since 1997. I just wish we had one of the WR's from OSU's WR room. Roman Wilson is great, but we need a big WR who can go up and make catches.

As they should and it reflects on the team rankings you were referencing. Any good defense would be putting the numbers against that schedule.

I highly doubt Michigan puts up the offensive numbers against Ohio State that they have the last two seasons. Ohio State should be able to focus on stopping the run and won't have so much of a liability in the defensive backfield this season (thankfully Cam Brown and Cam Martinez are not on the field)

Hopefully both teams stay healthy. It should be a really good game

This part is very important for you guys looking to next year. It's too bad your QB next year likely isn't on your roster (at least it doesn't seem that way from most michigan fans).

You start drinking a bit early today? Not judging, just wondering with that sentence.

Also, you should know how stupid it is to play the transitive property game. First off, McCord had a 26 yard TD pass incorrectly called back by a blown call that the B1G admitted if you're wanting to lay out stats like that. Secondly, it was his first game as the starter, while McCarthy had what, 17 starts under his belt? Are you really bragging about that?

I've literally never had a single excuse for OSU on here. You get pissed I don't bow down to michigan and you're incapable of accepting criticism so you make up the "excuse" BS - which is incredible irony considering how desperately you're just excusing away the mounting allegations against michigan up to this point.

I think it will be a really good game. I just like messing with ATF, as he is the biggest homer on here and love seeing all the excuses he comes up with.

The game is going to be close -- I'm hoping Michigan can stay healthy, as it'd be nice to have Corum. Same with OSU -- hope they are healthy, as it will be the best game the B1G has to offer.

Would hate to have an injury to sway the game.
