I think the difference is how many years many of those Big 10 West OC's have been in their positions compared to Brian Ferentz (7 yrs).

I'm certainly not happy with Nebraska's OC. However, it's his first season at Nebraska (only third season as an OC) and is dealing with teaching a new system to a lot of young players.

The jury is still out on him, but I'm giving him a couple years before I get bent out of shape on it.

And? It wasn't just for this year. The teams I listed particularly OSU and KSU are competing yearly for a B1Gwest title just as I'll cede Iowa likely does in the B12.

But the notion that the B1Gwest is equal to the B12 is pure nonsense. Especially this year.
