So why is there an investigation? Why did michigan suspend him?

With pay. And because it's clearly a loophole in the rule.

They suspended him with pay while the investigation happens. Why wouldn't they? Seems like a reasonable step and appeases everyone involved.

This just in -- you can also simply watch All-22 films to get video of teams giving signals on their drives. I didn't watch all of the video, but you can see Bama's signals from around 20 minute mark for the duration of the first drive. I stopped watching after that.

You'd have to get the All-22 film from the opposite of the field if you'd like to see Georgia's signs.
