2. The NCAA will shut up or the big dogs will move on
3. Different rules for different divisions so schools could decide if they want to stay status quo and potential move down or pony up but I don't think we would see near the 80% attrition you think.

You are probably correct....but over half of that 80% are living in lala land and aren't having honest conversations with themselves. I'm going to say 90% of the G5s can't pony up to that level. 10% can but won't and the last 10% are like SMU...aka richer than six feet up a bull's ass.

And probably 1/2 of the P5s will have a difficult decision to make. There are really only 30-35 now that can "keep up with the Jones".
