The courts being closed won't prevent a judge from stepping in...

They're intention was right in the statement, "seek a court order, together with Coach Harbaugh, preventing this disciplinary action from taking effect.”
 
-They'll be a judge on call so it could come down anytime.
 
Let me get this straight -- the big punishment is Harbaugh can't go to the games, but he can coach all week?!? :pound:

Imagine how Ryan Day will look if he loses to Michigan this year with their head coach not even in the stadium. This is going to be epic.

that's the other thing. is there really that much of a difference between being on the sidelines versus in a booth?

So, let's see where the goalposts are ... per you, the big, scary, law firm was going to keep this from happening. I mean all they had to do was file some papers, and go "boo" and the B1G was going to fold up and go home. My goodness, with two lawyers filing responses how could you ever lose? I mean apart from one of the scary lawyers plagiarizing from a sports board.

So, that didn't work and now they will move for a TRO. We'll see how that plays out. I am thinking this will have to be federal court as the B1G is located in illinois and UM is in, well, Michigan. Not sure that they will get something done before Monday unless they can find a UM law grad federal district judge.

This was part of the plan. They were always going to punish us. The Big Ten certainly modified their losing language because of it. Which is why it delayed from Thursday to Friday. I look forward to their loss.

I was just driving home and someone mentioned that. The radio guy said he can't be in the booth, but mentioned he wasn't sure about if he could be in the lockerroom?!?!
