While I don’t know the full facts of which presidents didn’t want it, it’s his job to convince them or get something better. The punishment is laughable. All it will do is make James Franklin/Penn State and Ryan Day/Ohio State look horrible if they lose to Michigan without their head coach, which is highly possible. It puts unwanted pressure on those schools.
