2024 Recruiting Thread

over tosu huh?
That's what it says. Apparently he committed during the game on Saturday. I'm just now catching up. He's a good player and we can use him.

i say that cause tosu didn't ever give him a committable offer.. Once he decommitted, only schools giving him a spot where y'all and UCLA

only reason i know this is because of my tosu friends in a sports Chat group i'm part of.

Apparently he's a project but has the right measurables and speed to do well if he has the urge to

That's a big one. Rushing and Breland is a great haul up front for Lanning.

To those fans who follow the QB recruits. CJ Carr (committed to Notre Dame) faced off against Bryce Underwood (#1 QB in 2025) in the playoffs yesterday in Michigan. Needless to say -- CJ Carr struggled. Bryce Underwood's team won 65-14. Carr had 0 tds and 3 int's. Underwood dominated in the game throwing for 5 tds I believe.

Underwood is the "new generational" QB that happens every other class LOL

The kid is a freak, BUT, he plays in a wide open offense and his team is stacked with D1 players. His head coach was fired and banned from coaching for 3 years for recruiting players out of Detroit. I think one of the guys he got fired for was Underwood.

I need to see the kid when he faces teams with comparable talent, but he doesn't have that in Michigan. His team has won back to back state titles and will likely win another one this year. Underwood looks the part though. He is up to 6'3", can make all the throws, can run if he needs to, but he doesn't have to make a ton of contested throws.

people are saying he's a generational talent.. so I guess that's what he is.. who knew generational talent is consistent every other year? lol

Saw he has an Iowa offer. How do you suppose that conversation went?

I am guessing whoever Iowa gets as a QB, it won't be because Iowa was their first choice. The O/U for Iowa's game this week is like 28.5. It is the lowest O/U in CFB history.

“Hi! Will u be our offense? Pretty please?”❤️❤️❤️
Can you imagine how the recruiting calls from Iowa go? Tough to sell the school when you are so unbelievably bad on offense.

I guess they can say -- if you can average 25 ppg as the QB, we will erect a statue outside the stadium.

Whoa didn't expect this at all.. I knew were were still talking to him but I didn't think it would materialize.. #HookEm 🤘
I got a DM from a friend who is a Bull Gator - a lot more coming in the next month. When they lose the next two games and are not bowl-eligible, they better be ready to open up the NIL budget more than they already have. 5-7 with the schedule they have next year is not something that you can recruit to.

I know this isn't class of 2024. This probably isn't a surprise to you "recruitniks", but for this old man it is nuts. Freshman!!!!

Texas Top 50 Class of 2027

The DFW Metroplex has a disproportionate number of them. Insane.
