UM folds ... accepts punishment

I see him, he was the #14 transfer that year. Again, though, this isn't a reflection of michigan being some elite academic institution that these kids just aren't smart enough for. You guys have dumbasses working in your admissions office.
It isn't the people 'working in the administration office'. It is the schools policy.

We get them at about the same rate as Stanford was getting them. We catch a few strays here and there. JJ was a five star on some of the sites. Edwards was a five star on some of the sites. We just don't get 5 in one class. I think we do well with grad transfers because 1. it's easier to transfer into UM from a college and 2. They don't have credits to lose.
I get what you're saying, I'm just saying the academics part of it just doesn't hold water. Stanford was failing and still getting them, and michigan has more resources.

Someone in the admissions office had to come up with those policies. They don't seem to make much sense if these kids are getting into other elite academic institutions. Sort of ironic, if you think about it.

Stanford is also a private school and in California. So we don't know what kind of things they slid through and it's warm all year, and by the beach. I think Michigan and ND are comparable, and I think both teams have had comparable success both recruiting and on the field. Tons of 4 star kids, lacks the ability to get 5 stars. Unless schools are willing to let some things slide, I don't think they can achieve what schools like Georgia, Alabama, FSU, OSU ect are doing on the recruiting trial.

Michigan is in like the top 8 of schools graduating NFL draft picks in the last 8 years. There's no reason we shouldn't be pulling in top 100 talent. The reason we haven't is because of our admission process, academic minimums and refusal to pay high school kids NIL money. Our classes are largely based on four star prospects in the 150-250 range and the occasional five star we can lure away in spite of everything else.

The refusal on the NIL is going to bury you guys.

Good idea. I like the creativity. Giant signs from the sky
Just show up as normal and deny he’s Jim Harbaugh. He’s just a GA named Steve.

Do the same thing when a player gets ejected for targeting. Put on a different numbers and you’re a walk on seeing his first game action if anyone asks

What they should do is just have Jim show up and coach and tell the B10 to fuck off. What are they going to do? Ban any B10 official from campus.

Guarantee you under the exact same circumstances, Nick Saban and Kirby Smart would be on the sidelines on Saturday

Ryan Day probably wouldn’t be because he’s a bit of a pussy and OSU’s chances of winning go up with him not on the sidelines

They could probably affect your monies from the conference

Michigan fucked up by cooperating. Deny, deny, deny and you get off
You call what they are doing 'cooperating'? When the NCAA came the first time to interview the coaches, they went to practice then scattered like the wind on recruiting visits rather than meet with the investigator.

Harbaugh is suspended, it doesn’t go that far if they cooperate at all

Whoever snitched is who should be facing the most punishment.

Their sign stealing didn’t seem to hinder UGA or TCU

They very much have not cooperated lol

they're cooked man. this isn't innuendo the NCAA has hard evidence on them.
They cooperated enough to get Harbaugh suspended.

Snitches gonna get stitches come Saturday though

It has been that way for as long as I've been alive. We had a 5 star safety from the south who wanted to go to UM back when Dick Rod was coach and they refused to let him in.

It only adds to the pompous reputation the school has with their academics. The school needs to separate academics and athletics, as most kids we recruit wouldn't get into UM as regular students.

Harbaugh hasn't even heard from the NCAA yet.

He chickened out of going to court when it was discovered that one of his assistant coaches tampered with evidence.

Some cooperation.

As for TCU, they were warned and had 25 days to change things - they had Michigan's defense in a blender because they thought they knew what was coming. It was hilarious.

Should have just told the NCAA to fuck off and accuse the NCAA investigator of sexual assault and have them escorted off campus

Any cooperation is too much cooperation, and snitching needs to just die.

Pretty well every team is doing something similar anyways
