he's making 8.6 mil a year now at KY..
Jimbo was making something over 9 mil a season..
so they are probably closer than they are apart.. but i bet they learned their lesson on handing out 10 year deals or extensions after 3 seasons

I gotta be honest I would be disappointed if I was an A&M fan. I think Stoops is a good coach but I don’t see him doing any better than Jimbo. I see perennial 8-4 under him

crazy.. they decided he was the best guy.. didn't have pressure at a basketball school, hid out in a bad SEC east division and when it came to recruiting he always had an excuse.. first it was resources then it was NIL.
This guy will just carry on the 8-4 type seasons

Stoops has done a great job at UK, he might work out fine at A&M TBH.
I think he is in a very similar situation as Lane Kiffin (who I would get if I were A&M) , I think both have done about all that they realistically CAN do at UK and Ole Miss. A&M can provide resources that UK and Ole Miss just can't.
