He was on yesterday for the selection show, until the moment the Duck gave was announced. Took him about 24hrs to gather the courage to put a fake spin on this insult of a bowl game.

I don't care the opponent, all I know is come Jan 1st, 2024 the Ducks get to play in a NY6 Bowl, end the season 12-2, capture a Fiesta Bowl trophy, be on TV right before the playoffs, Lanning goes to 2-0 in bowl games, Bo Nix plays one last time as a Duck.
It'll be a great day and a great game for Oregon. Sorry to burst your bubble. Do I want to play in the CFP? Sure as hell yes I do, but chips didn't fall the way we needed so we are presented with this NY6 Bowl game. Damn, who would have thought 25 years ago you'd think Duck fans DON'T want to be in the Fiesta Bowl. This program has sky rocketed to heights unforeseen by many at such a rapid pace.

I do know for a fact that had Oregon won on Friday you would have been all over UW had they ended up with a brand new G5 in their bowl. You'd have been laughing your ass off up here until fall camp.
Had we won the PAC-12 title game I would be totally on Texas and the playoffs right now and not worried about UW at all in whatever bowl they were in.

You may only have 26 days to enjoy your undefeated season. Go and hype up the playoffs each day passed is a day wasted. You could very well look back on January 2nd and wish you enjoyed each day prior a little more.

Ok crazy dude, I’m glad you are back so soon but I have to call you out on this. Real competition on a weekly basis? Rutgers, Nebraska, Minnesota. Northwestern, Maryland. Illinois, Indiana, Iowa? If that’s real competition that says more about Oregon than anything. The Big is weak weak weak.
Those teams are far better built than CAL, Stanford, ASU, Arizona, UCLA, Wazzu, Oregon State.
Rutgers - sucks
Nebraska - Matt Rhule may build a quality 8-4 team there in a year or two. Also rusty old program like Oklahoma
Minnesota - Has been very solid and good since Row The Boat guy has been there, this was their one down year
Northwestern - B1G's version of Stanford. Can have years of being sneaky good
Maryland - Sleeping giant. Currently with Tua's brother but this program is a few miles away from a recruiting hot bed
Illinois - Beilema, although a douche, is a solid coach
Indiana - Sucks
Iowa - Aren't they like 3 time B1G West champs and have multiple 10 win seasons over the last few years?
The B1G offers so much more on a weekly basis.
