Coach of the Year options

Lance Leipold

At Wisconsin Whitewater he was WIAC Coach of the Year from 2009 - 2011, and then again in 2014.

At Buffalo he was MAC Coach of the Year in 2018 and in 2020.

He's now brought Kansas out of the depths of hell with wins over tejas and Oklahoma.

Thanks for the kiss of death

Well, the end of the season is near. I guess we have a clearer picture of who should "really be considered" for Coach Of The Year. And please don't bring up the sunglasses selling, receipt collecting, TikTok making joke in Boulder.

Who ya got?

What about Harbaugh... why isn't he a finalist? He coached in half the games, that should be good enough.

Goddamn Ryan Day.

Dan Lanning ?! Where is OD to defend his boyfriend?

Just a bunch of Deion haters as voters, guy has done things never before seen! Can't stand the success of a strong black man!
Oh he took notes. Don't you worry about that.

Kalen DeBoer is Dan Lanning's daddy.

Finalists (in my opinion)

Kalen DeBoer (Washington) coached un undefeated team to the playoffs despite not being the best team on the field (according to OD).

Mike Norvell (Florida State) coached an undefeated team who lost their top two quarterbacks and were kept out of the playoffs.

Steve Sarkisian (Texas) coached a worthy 11-1 team to a playoff spot, and woke the NCAA, and woke the NCAA up to helmet communications,

Nick Saban (Alabama) whined to hard for two years cause his team to be gifted a spot in the playoffs

Ryan Day (ohio state) squealed so loud it may cause more oil production and an opening of the Keystone Pipeline

Kirby Smart (Georgia) coached his 11-1 team to continued excellence for three years

Jim Harbaugh and Sherrone Moore (Michigan) coached an undefeated team to the #1 spot. Despite Harbaugh getting suspended for half the season for buying a recruit a cheeseburger and decoding signals that the opposition were displaying in the open.

Honorable Mention: Deon Sanders (Colorado) bringing freshness and entertainment to the NCAA. It will be interesting to the see where his team goes in 2024.
