The irony for me, is the tush push isnt the reason I think assisting a ball Carrier should be illegal. Its the down field stuff I think should be outlawed.
If I could compromise to allow the tush push to get rid of the other assisting the ball carrier I would do it in a heartbeat. It should absolutely be illegal.

well.
Since this is the sole place we put Eagles info.

Wonder if AJ Brown wishes he was a Cowboy?

The reality is they really don’t push much. Kelce gets really low and Hurts has crazy strong legs.

yeah to me if they made the tush push illegal, dont think it changes anything for the eagles. Their Olineman are what really makes it work.

The fact that no one can replicate it tells me it’s the skill of the people doing it rather than the play itself.

Every NFL team is going to have a rugby coach in the next mini camps to figure out how to do scrums better and stop that play. Just gotta get lower. Not sure why the NT doesn't just go ahead and lay down. And the DE should loop around and drill hurts every time they run it. he already has the first down and is still moving.

Sounds like they should just hire you.

Not just lower, they have to line up correctly.

A lot of times, defenses end up positioning their tackles at an angle. Its an effective setup vs a traditional line because it puts pressure on the gap and makes the NT difficult to block head on. But in this situation, it actually makes it easier for the O-line because they're just surging forward and the guard normally blocks down into the NT. The Eagles' left guard can easily move that body, no matter how low he is, because he's hitting him from the side and it removes all the defender's leverage. Hurts often gains the yards off that side too.

To effectively stop that push, the d-line needs to line up in very tight splits like the O-Line and meet them straight up. Only after they can create a stalemate up front can they then worry about LB push or someone going over the top.

I have a feeling that is practiced, but a smart QB then sees the middle stacked and ends up then running around the unprotected end. Not sure what Hurts would do. :dhd:

Funny that the best player in the league and the top two MVP candidates are white. :noidea:

What a strange world we are living in right now. A black man could be robbing me at gunpoint, and if I called him the N-word during said robbery, I'd prolly get in more trouble.

So he wants to be racist, huh? So many racist troll response possibilities... It's probably a good thing I'm not on "X"...

...maybe cite the volume of white versus black head coaches, GMs, owners and analysts - pointing out that whites are simply better at it - and maybe even throw a "get back in the field" at him to really stir the pot...

So he thinks he's better than Tom Brady?

Who would you take in some form of white vs black, one vs one form of football? How would that even look? Would you even take Tom Brady over Rashard Mendenhall? I don't know at that point. Menedhall might have a point. On that point though, how far are we from 1v1 football and then on top of that 1v1 racially based football?
