Not a good half for the Illini. Purdue is pretty stout on both sides and out hustling us for sure

Yep. Purdue did a good job responding after Illinois run especially with Edey out.

Hawkins is so annoying whining about that foul at end of half. Clearly ran into him. I swear every time I see Illinois play he’s a whiny bitch

It was 20-4. Edey went out. The Illinois run immediately started. He came back committed 2 fouls right away. Run continued.

But then they figured out how to play without him. And Illinois inexplicably stopped going to the rim.

Overall played basically even without Edey so thats a massive plus for Purdue.
 
I’m interested to see what Edey does in the NBA. Or if he just goes to play in China

Someone on Illinois should punch Hawkins in the head. Anytime the announcers say "Hawkins is complaining about the call" 5 times in a game. You need to be throat punched.

He was right on 1 call in the first half on that wildly egregious out of bound call. But that doesnt give him a right to do it on every single call that happens.

I don’t see him translating well to NBA. Great college player though. Maybe like an off the bench type player. Last I saw he was a later 1st to mid 2nd round pick but could have changed.

This is why you cant trust Purdue in March.

They went into stallball at like the 8 minute mark and their guards gets pummeled by the pressure like always

These aren't the kind of games to stress about losing. Especially on the road.
Nebraska's not gonna win the conference, they just need to finish in the top half to get an NCAA tournament bid.
