He wasn't giving up any hits the 2nd time through. He did during the 3rd, and they took him out.

Obviously, hindsight tells us they made a poor choice, but to act as if it wasn't completely driven by analytics is wrong.

I'm not actually claiming the league turned their heads on this, but on Game 6 of the World Series, to have the tests delayed? Come on...the game was at 8 PM. They had all day to rerun tests. A regular season game he would have been sitting out.

From what I heard, they test everyday. I do agree though, that if this were a regular season game, the inconclusive test would have been reason to sit him until he was re-tested.

My Mom always cooked with cast iron. I never had, so I didn't know much about how to care for it. She lived with my wife and I for the last several years of her life and brought her cast iron.

The first time I used it, I was washing it and reached for the dish soap. She saw me reaching for it and I hear "NOOOOO!!" and she comes running into the kitchen (never seen a woman in her 70's move so fast lol). She then explained to me all of the years of seasoning that I nearly ruined.

Since then, I've become a true believer and it's about the only thing I'll cook with.
