Michigan’s Sherone Moore to be named head coach

They did that because the NFL lineman who replaced him, was better. Simple actually. That doesn't mean now that the NFL lineman who won the job is gone, that he will somehow turn "bad" -- because he was never "bad" while earning the start this past year.
His PFF grades for Iowa, PSU, Bama and Washington were abysmal, so you're still wrong.

So you're super excited for him to start at LT? Or are you gonna keep ducking this question?

The biggest reason we struggled against michigan is because they were cheating, let's be honest here. Stallions left and michigan was barely scraping by.

You lost your entire offensive line and most of your coaching staff. You guys went all in on last year and return nothing on offense. Hinton is garbage and you guys should know that. Again, I really hope you have him as a starter.
Yeah -- Michigan barely scraped by beating Penn State on the road, OAM at home, Iowa in the B1G title game, Alabama in the CFP semi's and blowing out Washington to win the National Championship. Talk about a hot take.

You've said some really dumb things, but I think you outdid yourself this time :pound:

So single digit wins over a decent PSU team, a below average OSU, and one of Saban's 5 worst teams, all of which came down to the final minutes. A 26 point win over Iowa that was only their third biggest shutout loss of the season because they don't believe in offense. Then a win over Washington, the 2nd worst team to ever make a CFP Final out of 20. Yeah man, that's scraping by.

He did play though. They just sliced his snap count way, way down. Why would they do that? How does one go from being a starter to hardly playing? That's right, he sucks.

As I predicted, you won't comment on if you want him to start this coming year because you know I'm right about him.
I'm completely fine with Hinton at either Tackle spot. He has issues with elite speed rushers, just like Barnhardt had issues for UM this past year.

Good thing for UM is -- the best two speed rushers in the B1G were both at Penn State last year and both are gone now. Hinton is fine against power rushers. Thankfully -- that is exactly what UM will see almost exclusively this year.

I applaud you for at least answering the question. Of course, he graded out horribly against Iowa, Bama, and Washington and didn't face OSU, but at least you answered the question.

The OAM win was pathetic, especially after seeing them get embarrassed by Missouri. But rivalry games, that can happen.

The rest of your comment sounds exactly like an extremely desperate and jealous fan. It is highly entertaining, because there is nothing better than OAM tears.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, for the PSU game Hinton was one of the highest graded players on offense. On the line, he was only behind Zinter...

snap count/grade

J.J. McCarthy - 56 / 74.4

Zak Zinter - 56 / 75.2

Trevor Keegan - 56 / 56.9

Karsen Barnhart - 56 / 48.2

LaDarius Henderson - 56 / 56.3

Drake Nugent - 56 / 65.2

AJ Barner - 44 / 67.9

Roman Wilson - 38 / 55.6

AD
Cornelius Johnson - 38 / 73.4

Blake Corum - 36 / 64.2

Colston Loveland - 34 / 61.7

Donovan Edwards - 22 / 73.5

Max Bredeson - 20 / 63.3

Trente Jones - 17 / 71.7

Myles Hinton - 13 / 72.4

Tyler Morris - 10 / 66.7

Semaj Morgan - 5 / 73.7

Kalel Mullings - 3 / 60.0

Certainly is odd that a kid only good enough to play at Syracuse was able to guide OSU to more points in Ann Arbor than the current offensive ROY was able to at home with basically the same weapons and a far better OL...

Oh well, you guys ran your scheme and had your fun. Now you're back to being an afterthought. LOL

He would excel against OAM, as OAM doesn't have speed at the DE position. It is a big reason why OAM's defense is nowhere near what they were in the past. They don't have a Nick Bosa. They don't have a Joey Bosa. They don't have a Chase Young.

They have Sawyer and JT -- talented enough to be good against weaker competition, but no top team is game planning to stop Sawyer or JT.

6 offensive lineman from Michigan got invites to the NFL combine and @Across The Field is like "Why didn't the 7th get more playing time!!!!"

Well that's weird, I thought you said PSU was the only team with EDGE rushers that were too fast for Hinton. How did that happen?

60 PFF vs. Iowa
60 PFF vs. Alabama
59.8 PFF vs. Washington
DNP vs. Ohio State

So your offense should have no trouble scoring 30+ again this year, right?

I did not, in fact, say that. And those other grades were not out of line for some of our other starting lineman during those games....so you say he sucked, but graded similarly to other lineman who will likely be drafted? Weird.

No, I was wondering why he got benched and had horrible games against good teams at the end of the year.
If by "horrible games" you mean -- graded out similar to other starting lineman on the team you're now saying he can't replace? He isn't Zinter. He's certainly a good startable offensive lineman.

That is what happens when you have a coach who was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple. That is also why tUM fans LOVE Ryan Day.

The best move OAM made since Meyer left is taking all responsibility away from Ryan Day. Thankfully OAM kept him, so the team can continue to keep that Charmin Soft persona they have inherited from Day.

Not with those types of performances. At least he'll be good against Maryland I guess.

Did you miss the fact we ran the ball 30+ straight plays?!?! It is because they pulled Barnhardt, put in Hinton and we beat PSU without attempting a single pass in the entire 2nd half.
