I was trying some whiskey drinks (a sour and an old fashioned)but didn’t know which one to use so I went with makers. Any suhggestions? (Soft G, plz).
Also tried to make a Negroni. Prolly a little too sweet for my liking. And now I have a bottle of sweet vermouth that I’m going to have to deal with.

Yeah makers is sweet, it's better off straight up. For old fashioneds I use something like Jack or Jim or Turkey.

You can make Manhattans with that vermouth and bourbon, just get a box of luxardo cherries
