That’s a pretty tough list to argue against.

I feel like either Indy Speedway or Daytona should be there, but I don’t see which you could/should remove from the original grouping.

Kinda feel like you have to have the original Yankees stadium on the list, but I guess it matters WHY they're being considered. Is it because of iconic moments in the stadium's history? Or because it's well-known and easily recognizable?

Or is it because OP just wanted to pump up his own team's venue?

I immediately thought about Yankee Stadium, but with the new one, it just doesn’t seem the same.

Well, he did say "your Mt Rushmore" so I think you could make a completely subjective list based on that, i.e.- what venues are most important to you
*and based on those parameters I would include my college bedroom as some really iconic athletic endeavors were undertaken there.

Yeah, the new one is awful. Maybe 60 years from now it'll be considered cool and retro and all.

Well then, my list is going to be very, very different

An argument could be made to swap Fenway for Yankee Stadium, but give me a more iconic football stadium than Lambeau Field.

Fenway? You've never been there have you? One of the biggest "this is it???" locations I've ever had the distinct displeasure of seeing in my life. It's a tiny, little, miniature toilet filled with drunk, racist fans. I'm sorry if that angers @Rock Strongo but I must tell the truth, no matter how unpopular.

Madison Square Garden
Wrigley Field
Lambeau Field
Yankee Stadium

It'd be fun to do a top ten all-time baseball stadiums.

Bryant-Denny Stadium... Not your typical 100,000+ seat college football stadium. Yeah, I'm a homer.

madison square garden? why?? surely not because of the shitty-ass knicks, right? i mean, guess there have been some pretty important events there, i.e. boxing matches and whatnot...but i'm not so sure it should be on anyone's rushmore.

original Yankee Stadium
Wrigley Field
Arrowhead Stadium
Michigan Stadium a.k.a. "the Big House"
Candlestick Park

I'll see your miniature toilet with drunk, racist fans and I'll raise you a Wrigley field shithole with arrogant, spoiled fans.

A bit bias as I have to deal with flatlanders alot - mostly White Sox and Cubs fans and they're cut from the same dillhole mold.

Good idea however in having a top ten all-time baseball stadiums though.

Gotta 100% disagree with you, man.

Wrigleyville for a day game in summer? I know of no better vibe in sports than that.

A cold-ass night game at that shitty old ancient toilet filled with disgraceful Boston fans? The 180-degree opposite of what I enjoy.

Candlestick was iconic and a lot of history was made there but it was in a horrible location and was always so dark, cold and windy.

You'd have a better time at Miller Park than either of those locations :beer2:
