You could tell how desperate they were. I'm not sure who the FA QBs were that year, but my guess is the best option they would've had was like Jameis. Evidently they're going to run it back once more with him this season and then probably draft another QB next year.

Rumors are Atlanta is going all in on Kirk Cousins now. NE is also rumored as a possible spot for JJ at 3. Not sure what options Denver has other than maybe Jimmy G or Jameis at this point. They're in cap hell with all the dead money, it's gonna be a long next couple years in Denver.
Well assuming Chicago goes Williams, that means Washington will likely take the 2nd QB and NE the 3rd. I could see Denver go after JJ, with Wilson and Cousins as the main FA QBs. This scenario would still leave Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Minnesota, Vegas, and NYG (Rumors are they are ready to move off Daniel Jones immediately) as places that would be viable options. I even saw a rumor yesterday possibly linking Fields to Cleveland since they realize how massive of a failure Watson is, but that seems unlikely since Watson's dead cap would cripple the organization. Gun to my head, here's how I think it plays out:
This QB class in general is so enigmatic. It could produce 4 HOFers or be 2021 all over again.
Wilson's wife is from Atlanta. Keep that connection in mind.
I actually have been hearing Cousins connect there too. It's a total crapshoot right now honestly.
