It's Throwback Thursday's thread of sarcasm and witty repartee

Good morning.

German Village is directly south of downtown. So, you're just walking through the neighborhood and downtown.

When I lived in German Village (it was the south end of it), I would typically take the bus to the games, then get an Uber back home.

Gotcha. I used to love public transportation as a kid/younger adult. Taking the Downeastah from Maine straight into the Bruins arena was a fun trip every time.

After taking it in the Twin Cities various times to go to games, I'm done with that noise.

She's NOT pulling the goalie yet. I think I've successfully argued my case for non suburb for the first house.

...I think I lost on the kid number though. 3
Get out while you still can.

Went to bed a little early last night. Throat is feeling a little less sore today, so that's good.

Also good. Think I convinced SA to keep her IUD for a little longer
You're doomed.

Doomed to a life of domesticity.

Duke started early with his brand of Douchi-ness....

Duke really doesn't need to reproduce.....

I (for obvious reasons) haven't taken a bus in a while, but do prefer to if there is a fairly convenient line available

I am hoping the remnants of the hurricane coming up the coast isn't too bad...not excited about the idea of another tree coming down...

Shouldn't be that bad by the time it gets there, should it? Too cold for that now.

Better buy as many $100 beers as you can now because that ain't happening in your future.
I used to have a wine fridge full of library wines. Termanthia, Caymus Special Selection, Far Niente, Paul Hobbs. I'd usually drink two or three, and add 3 or 4 big ones a year.

I think all that's in there now is six $11 bottles of wine.

morning all. Went out to dinner last night to place in Duck, they had a chef board which was basically a little of everything, was really good. Even ate oysters which I normally do not eat, apparently being fresh makes a difference, who knew. Only think I didn't try was salmon and tuna tar tar. Even ate some veggies, sure it was deep fried cauliflower, but it counts.

Mapping our route home. Looks like we're going to leave tomorrow morning. Rain and wind is coming in, and neither of us feel like spending a day just sitting around house.
