That was the initial hope obviously. I'm by no means some expert but the reason we get the flu as often is due to the many strains.

It's been thought there are several strains of covid now. So either you can get all the different strains (obviously) or immunity only lasts for so long per strain.

It's bizarre to me we don't know this yet.
